Reeves Warrant Checks
Reeves is a small village. Nearly all local process begins with a traffic citation, and the village court page posts when the mayor's court sits along with how a ticket gets paid. Keep the full name, citation number, and court date in hand, then work the channels one at a time.
- Read the Reeves court page and check the posted date against the citation in hand.
- Call the village office at 337-749-2000 and ask whether the case carries a warrant or a failure to appear entry.
- If the ticket is older than 60 days, call America Municipal Services at 1-800-555-5160.
- Call the Allen Parish Clerk of Court at 337-639-4351 for a district charge filed against a Reeves resident.
- Call the sheriff at 337-639-4353 for bond, and the public defender at 337-639-2475 for counsel.
Reeves Publishes Traffic Court Dates
The official Reeves court page posts the traffic court calendar: October 6, 2025, November 3, 2025, and January 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Recheck the schedule before you count on a date, since calendars shift. The same page carries the payment instructions that follow.
Pay a ticket on or before the court date, the Reeves page says, and no appearance is needed for that traffic process. Verify the date and the rule with the village office.

Reeves Warrant Records and Town Hall Routing
Town Hall sits at 137 McFatter Street and answers at 337-749-2000 during office hours. Staff there route a citation question to the court that keeps the docket. Ask whether the citation is still open and whether a failure to appear entry exists. Also ask what written clearance the office issues once the matter closes.
Note: The village office posts limited hours, so confirm the docket answer in writing when the matter is urgent.
Warrants in Reeves: The Main Types
Reeves process starts with traffic citations and village ordinances. That is the usual scope. Louisiana may use capias where a court says warrant or failure to appear, so ask the court for the label on the file.
| Warrant Type | How It Arises | Who Issues It |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic citation warrant | Unpaid citation or missed traffic date | Reeves Mayor's Court |
| Failure to appear warrant | Missed court date after notice | Reeves Mayor's Court |
| Ordinance warrant | Unresolved village ordinance violation | Reeves Mayor's Court |
| District arrest warrant | Charge filed after an investigation | 33rd Judicial District Court |
| Non-support warrant | Enforcement filing in a support case | 33rd Judicial District Court |
The Older-Than-60-Days AMS Route
A ticket older than 60 days takes a different route on the Reeves court page: America Municipal Services, or AMS, at 1-800-555-5160. AMS takes debit and credit payments and, per the page, may offer payment plans. Remember it is a payment channel, not a warrant check. Before treating payment as the end of the matter, ask the village office whether the court also entered an FTA or a warrant.
Note: Payment plans through AMS settle the ticket balance, and they do not by themselves recall a court process.
Reeves Warrant Records: What They Show
A village file and a district file carry similar fields. A different office reads each back. The Reeves village court works from its docket, while the parish clerk works from the district index.
| Case Number | The court's own key for the file. Ask which number to write down. |
|---|---|
| Subject Name | The name in the file, which may differ from a nickname. |
| Charge or Offense | The ordinance, traffic count, or charge tied to the file. |
| Issuing Court | Reeves Mayor's Court, the 33rd Judicial District Court, or another court. |
| Bond or Fine | The amount set by the court. Confirm it with the court. |
| Status | Active, recalled, served, or cleared. Ask what the entry means. |
Reeves Warrant Checks and the QuickCourt Vendor
The village homepage links citation payment to QuickCourt. That vendor collects payments; it publishes no warrant search and no case-status list. Follow QuickCourt only through the official Reeves instructions. For any status question, call the village office or the court.
Note: A payment site that accepts money is not proof that a warrant was recalled or that a court date was reset.
Reeves Warrants and Allen Parish
A traffic or village ordinance warrant stays with the Reeves mayor's court. A district warrant moves through the parish system instead. A district arrest can lead to booking at the Allen Parish Detention Center, where the sheriff holds the custody record, and Louisiana keeps no public statewide warrant list. For the wider picture, start with Allen Parish warrant records; traffic warrant records cover the same citation steps.
Warrant flow: Reeves Mayor's Court › Allen Parish Sheriff › no public statewide list
Release of Suspension Is a Separate OMV Step
After full payment, the Reeves court page says, the office provides a Release of Suspension to take to the Office of Motor Vehicles. That release clears the unpaid-citation flag on a driving record. It is a separate step from the warrant question. A release addresses the license flag only, and the court still confirms whether an FTA or warrant entry was closed.
Note: Keep the release document in case the state record does not update as quickly as the payment clears.
Accessing Reeves Warrant Records
Louisiana's public records law covers village, clerk, and sheriff records. Some law-enforcement material is exempt. A Reeves village docket and a district file sit with different offices, so one office having nothing does not prove the other has no record.
Key Rules:
Louisiana Public Records Law, La. R.S. 44:1 et seq. defines a public record.
La. R.S. 44:31 lets any adult inspect or copy a public record.
La. R.S. 44:3 allows some law-enforcement records to stay restricted.
La. Children's Code art. 412 keeps juvenile records confidential.
No Public Reeves Warrant List Was Found
Reeves publishes no public active-warrant list. The village pages carry court dates and payment steps, not a searchable warrant index. Use the court page for the schedule and the village office for a case question. For a district or custody matter, call the Clerk or the sheriff.
Reeves Police Are Not a Public Warrant Database
The official Reeves Police Department page confirms the department and its public-safety role. It posts no warrant-search field, no warrant list, and no case-status lookup. Treat it as a municipal information page only.
Use the police page for the department, and the court or village office for a warrant question. Emergencies in Reeves go to 911.
